Journaling is something that I struggle with but I got to do it during training camp. All with my green nails. No, nothing happened to my fingers/hands. I simply wanted to join my squad by wearing our team color as I don’t have anything green. So after enthusiastic squadmates encouraged me to get the nails painted I went with it and as I type this out I’m still wearing a little bit of nail polish on my fingers.

Throughout the week, the Lord worked in and through all 3 squads that were there. There was such a growth between individuals and as a squad as we learned how to communicate with one another and start to build those long lasting relationships. During the week of training camp was many sessions of growing in the Word and learning more of His Word. There was also scenarios placed for us that may happen on the World Race such as if our luggage gets lost from a flight. There was team building activities and fun scenarios as well. Let’s just say that if we ever need to cross a river together a certain way to get across you can just hop on my back and I’ll carry you. Along with training camp came the experience of bucket showers which was cold and refreshing.

Now, I can honestly say I didn’t want to leave training camp as I knew I was meant to be there and I’m ready to launch overseas to go share the Gospel with my new friends. How did I know I was meant to be at training camp? As some of you may know I have prophetic dreams. While I was there two people from the original squad I would of been with sat and ate with myself and a few others. They asked why I wasn’t with them anymore and it was because I was the only guy on that squad. So I needed to change to a squad with more guys so I could have fellowship with other guys. During that time one of them brought up and joked saying they were just gonna have me wear a wig the entire time. This is where the prophetic plays in. I remembered hearing that before and it instantly clicked, a few months ago I had a dream eating with a bunch of people and in that dream someone said the exact same thing.

Thus, this is why I am pushing to go on the World Race and pushing to be fully funded and fully processed before or by the end of November. It’s because I see God working through it all. Even when I may get disheartened. The amount of times during training camp of people coming up to me proclaiming that God is going to use me greatly on this mission trip also speaks volumes to me. The amount of people in the past who have spoken to me stating they see me going to the nations to proclaim the Gospel. I’m ready for it and I know God is ready to use me. The fact that last night a fellow brother in Christ from one of the other squads ended up coming up to me and just proclaimed that he heard from God that the Holy Spirit is ready to use me. That God is ready to use me y’all to go forth and proclaim His righteous name. The fact that I’m called to the 10/40 window and am going on the 10/40 window.

Not only did the Lord speak through others to me but He also gave me peace and much rest. I’ve never experienced that much peace before and I’m glad I obeyed God when He wanted me to stay up the rest of the night with others in prayer and in worship.

I’m very thankful that I get to do life with everyone in this picture (and some not pictured) for however long they or I will be on this trip for. I personally would love to stay the full year on the trip proclaiming the Gospel with them in as many different countries as I can. They all have a huge heart for the Lord and for others. Friendships instantly have started and are growing. As someone who partly knows what God is going to do (help me with communication) I greatly desire to stay the full year to walk in that growth with the Lord. So I may also bear witness and testify in the many things the Lord has done. So I may be able to share with you all what the Lord is doing.

Iron sharpens iron and that is what you all are going to do. I am praying and believing that you will be fully funded and get to stay on the field the entire 11 months!
