Didn't think I'd be writing a blog like this so soon. Or maybe it's not so soon with how fast time has been going. For the past month as the World Race quickly comes to an end I've been wrestling in my mind about the "what's next". I have 2.5 months left until this mission trip is over and I believe the Lord has finally spoken to me on my next season in life. Now I'm not entirely sure on what that will look like just yet but I am excited. I've been wanting to go to Colorado for the longest time and now I get to.

How did I come to the conclusion that Colorado is my next season in life? Well as mentioned the Lord spoke it to me. I've been wrestling on the thought of going to Idaho to hang out with my cousin and start my life out there. Then I heard about landing zones for people who come back from the field. Basically you get the opportunity to stay with someone hosting you at their home for a certain time span as you process life on the field and prepare for the next steps in life. Some of these landing zones included Florida, Georgia, Texas and Colorado. After talking with my squadmate who's from Colorado I quickly crossed Colorado off the list because I heard of how pricey it could be.

Fast forward to about a few days ago and as I'm worshipping the Lord in corporate worship after being prayed over by two of my squadmates a very vivid image of a map of the United States appeared in my head as if I was floating over the map and it zoomed in on the more center part of the states, specifically in one state. So I go to google maps, and it happens to be Colorado. I look around Colorado at some of the landing zones; Denver area and Colorado Springs and felt peace about heading on over to Colorado Springs. So that will be my next journey in life. I plan to spend a week or a week and a half with family in Florida and then quickly head over there. As of now I have no idea where I'll be living or staying at. I just know I'm supposed to go. So I'm going to be as faithful as I can be, trust God and just go.

I bring all this up to give you all an update on what's next but within that to also ask for prayer. I know my faith is going to be tested a lot in this next season, I also know there's going to be lots of growth. Please pray for me as I continue to press into the Lord, please pray for me as I will soon start preparing and looking for jobs and please pray for me that the Lord will provide me a place to lay my head in Colorado. Also I'm still fundraising while out on the field, if you feel led to donate just click the bar where it says "donate" above. My goal is to be fully funded before I head back to the states.
