This year sure did fly by very quickly. So many memories and friendships were made. It’s been hard to actually process the whole year. In my most recent blog I wrote about how God used me to be able to pray over someone and talk with someone. God used those experiences for me to be able to give a message at our last youth night. Which consisted of board games with a movie in the background (The Road to El Dorado). After this last youth night it felt liked everything was going extra fast. Next thing you know I’m getting mayo poured in my hair and hit with eggs because we ended up reaching past our goal with raising finances for Hope Church (our host in Romania). Then I’m celebrating someone’s birthday in Romania. Eventually we come to my squad’s 10 days. This is something new that my squad and the other two squads (though they had different number of days) who launched in August 2021 got to partake in a time of celebration of what the Lord has done. We were essentially the guinea pigs of trying this out and we were essentially able to go to other countries and enjoy some time there. Some went to Egypt, Morocco, Greece, or even Italy. I, along with two others decided to stay in Romania for numerous factors.
Those 10 days flew by so quickly that my squad was soon off in the air heading back to the states for final debrief. I enjoyed most of final debrief. I state this simply because I ended up getting COVID on day 4 of being back in the states. I notice I get super sick every time I come back to the states. The first time I traveled overseas I was out for 2 weeks with some sickness and jet lag combined. This time it was covid, and I ended up having a fever. Praise God, it’s also my first time having covid. Final debrief was honestly very special though, all three squads that launched were there and we got to share testimonies from the field. We got to enjoy the park (I got Kona Ice, it was a nice walk down memory lane with that one) and we had some lovely teachings. Now I’m back in Florida preparing to head to Colorado Springs because the Lord has called me there. I ask for prayer for even though I’m going I do not have a place to live or a job lined up as of yet. But I’m going in faith and trusting that the Lord will make a way. Also I would love to thank every single one of you who has prayed for me, donated or even read my blog. Your support has meant so much to me throughout this year. I’m excited to be able to tell you all in person, over the phone or through email the many things the Lord has done.
Awesome nephew! So glad you got to do the Race! Nothing like it!
God will provide the Way! Do not worry about that at all! It’s going to be great.
Love that you are stepping outing faith, brother. Praying for divine appointments and connections! Welcome home.
