Below is a poem I wrote briefly. Might need some work.

The words are leaping off the pages.

Telling me that you paid my wages.

Your Word is being written on my heart.

Death can’t tear us apart.

I hunger and thirst for more of You.

The life You lived, the life You gave.

Just so that I might be saved.

Just so that I may live with You.

Now I’m born again, living brand new.

I hunger and thirst for more of You.

Take me deeper, stretch me and grow me.

I desire to always live set free.

Thank you for the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Thank you for my future inherit.

I hunger and thirst for more of You.

Please humble me when I misreport.

Convict me when I fall short.

Lead me in the direction to take.

Help me not to live life fake.

I hunger and thirst for more of You.
