The day started bright and early at 4 in the morning and took us about 5.5 hours to get from Sarandë to Tiranë. I was dreading the smaller bus ride as it was packed full and my knees touched the back of the seat. Thus, my legs ended up falling asleep on that long bus ride. And when I say smaller bus ride, smaller buses here are more so like a soccer mom van. So I indeed was very crammed in the back and agitated. But it’s alright, it was a learning experience for me and I see now why God blesses me to be able to sleep on long rides almost instantly.

My team and I made it to Tiranë and were a little confused. Luckily we found nice taxi drivers to take us to our bus station. It wasn’t the initial bus we would have taken but it was indeed cheaper. Luckily there was also a place to get some burgers as well as we all were pretty hungry and it was very affordable. Mine was known as “Mama Burger” and came with fries.

On the bus ride to Prizren, Kosovo I sat and started typing this blog out on my notes and enjoyed the view of the mountains. Seeing clouds lower than I’ve seen them before covering the mountains. It was a breathtaking view! We soon arrived to Prizren and had to take two taxis to get to our place we would be staying at for just the night.

Getting from place to place to share the Gospel to others is all because of your help! This is where your donations have been going to; food and water, lodging, transportation, ministry supplies (we did some prophetic art for those in Sarandë) and donations have gone to covid tests to travel from country to country. Donations all get pulled in one giant pot between all 34 of us for us to minister to others. Thus, if you want to help us continue to share the Gospel with others and make connections around the world who may in turn come to know who Jesus is and in turn go out and make disciples as well please feel free to donate.

One response to “Travel Day to Kosovo”

  1. Yes indeed, those transportation costs are frequently so much higher in foreign countries than at home. And Covid testing costs! But what are we supposed to do? We can’t just not do missions until the pandemic is over. Praying the rest of your needed donations are coming soon.
